I am using a Fujifilm X100S and an X-E2 for my work. In the past I used an X20 and an X30. I also photographed with a X70 for a short period. As a commercial photographer (portraits, fashion and erotica) and a documentary street photographer Fujifilm X100S allows me to work with a small, compact and light camera and at the same time to use manual settings to “build up” the image as I want. Fujifilm X-E2 is perfect in low light situations, for example at night and I am using it a lot for my photojournalistic coverages.
My experience with Fujifilm X cameras is undoubtedly extremely positive: finally I can count with rangefinder-like digital cameras. My preference is for using the optical viewfinder when I am making my street photographs, this is the reason why I am using mostly the X100S.
For photojournalism and for my social documentary projects Fujifilm X series cameras are reliable companions, and I love to photograph with them.
It doesn’t matter if I am busy with my photo expeditions in Mexico, if I am covering breaking news for the agencies I am working with, portraiting a model or just in the streets of Downtowon or in the barrios: a Fujifilm is my camera of choice.
