In my opinion everyone who picks up a camera and pushes the button – that simple and easy spontaneous act is a Street Photograph, it is a reaction to the scene in front of you. That urge to make a picture is at the heart of Street Photography. In this way a lot of people (me included) thinks to be a Street Photographer.
Street Photography is tied to the future of the medium itself, while there will be millions of possibilities to capture street scenes. Depending on the wider or narrower description what anyone think street photography is, the photographer has to evolve and get images which are meaningful and longer lasting than some minutes on the net. I’m still struggling to find my way but it helps to read posting like yours to reflect once in a will over the work I’m doing.
Great questions and ideas you raise.
